Apprentices; news and information
The British Horse Loggers Charitable Trust was established in 2006 as a not for profit company limited by guarantee, number 5792235 and a charity, number 1117426
Work began immediately in designing a fully accredited, three year 'old fashioned' skills based apprenticeship scheme and raising funds to resource it.
The apprenticeship was launched in 2008 as a Level III qualification.
Selection is competitive and tough, only four apprentices have since been appointed.
